... stay this moment ... |
Stay This Moment: I was very fortunate to be able to hear the wonderful photographer, Sam Abell, speak. I was mesmerized by his photos and his stories, especially one in particular. He spoke of photography as poetry, of how every time he, or any photographer, picks up a camera they are capturing a moment. They are saying 'Stay this moment.' Listening to him speak of this brought tears to my eyes. Every time I pick up a camera, I am wanting to stay in that moment, for just a little bit longer. So please, take a look around and just . . . stay this moment. |

Remember that Wisconsin wedding I did with my friend Chris? Well here is the finished video I promised. Hope you all enjoy <3
About a month ago I got a phone call from one of my good friends and photographer, Chris Medina ( http://chrismedinaphotography.com ). He is living in New York now and when he asked if I would be his assistant/second shooter for a wedding I assumed it would be in New York… but I was wrong, it was in Wisconsin. I said yes of course, I always love visiting new places and thought this would be a great experience, and boy was I right. This past weekend was the wedding so Chris and I flew out to Wisconsin on Thursday. Chris is close with the bride, Amy and her family. I heard all great things about them and was super excited to finally meet them. They welcomed me into their family with open arms and made me feel so comfortable. Amy and Gary (the groom) are the sweetest couple I have ever met. Their love for each other is undeniable. I am so very grateful that I was able to be apart of their special day. Congratulations Amy and Gary, I wish you all the best in the years to come!
— I mostly shot video (which I will be working on in the coming weeks), but I also got some great stills as well. Hope you all enjoy —
